This is our father, Franklin Carmelito Collantes, or to others “Boy”, “Papa Boy” or “Tito Boy”. He was diagnosed with a complex case of Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm last November. Doctors said that the size of his Aortic Aneurysm is very huge and can rupture anytime that’s why immediate operation is needed. As more CT scans and angiogram were done, doctors found out that there are more veins that are blocked that needs to be repaired which means more operation. Currently, he will undergo 3 major heart operations which are Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery, Full Debranching Aortic Surgery, and the Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair.
He is currently confined at Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City. Total cost of operation is about 3M pesos, but this can go up depending on the situation during the day of the procedure which is on Dec. 21. All of us are trying our best and exhausting all our resources to cover the expenses but unfortunately despite the efforts of the whole family, our funds can’t support the overwhelming expenses. So, we have decided to seek and ask for your kind support. We are humbly asking for any amount of assistance that could help cover the increasing medical bills and operation. We are also asking for your continuous support and prayers that Papa Boy will have a successful and complication-free operation on Wed, Dec. 21.
