Surviving Breast Cancer

Hi, I'm Harley! I live in the Philippines and would like to share my mom's courageous story surviving and fighting breast cancer.

We came from a low income earning family. We have not much after my dad got stroke. Mama always make sure that she can always put a food on the table and overwork herself just to make sure we're fine.

She did and still doing it. She over do it and her body is claiming it back. She have undergone two operations, vaginectomy and cataract surgery. She happen to have suffered a mild stroke which we think we got from our life style. There's a lot of adversaries we came through and I know for myself how many times she suffered from that.

I was there, always with her, all through out those tough times. I was there when she is trying hold back her tears just to show us she can do it and show us she is strong. I was there when she is in pain. She bear all those things just what a mother will do for their children.

She is my mother.

Now come breast cancer, she is undeniably weak and shows the fire of her youth slowly declining.

But she is fighting, she want to fight and survive this again one more time.

She raise us not to beg for help but help ourselves, but I know for ourselves we do not earn much to cover all her medical bills.

I would never really ask for anything, but prayers.

I believe in you and I believe in miracle, just one prayer for my Mama
