"Agent of Change"

A blessed day,

I am Sir Gani Ibarrientos of the Philippines, the Boy Scout coordinator of our humbled community school, the Masoli High School, located at barangay Masoli, Bato, Camarines Sur (Philippines).

In behalf of our institution, I am appealing to your benevolent heart to help my 35 senior scouts to have their own scout uniform, camping equipment/materilas for our upcoming approved scouting event this school year 2022-2023 , the district advancement camp, provincial, regional and national jamboree/scouting. Since we are living in a third wolrd country, most of our students live in a poverty level and cannot afford to buy such things.

Base on our school history, this the first time that scouting in our school is being organized. . after 4 years in the service as public school teacher on the said school, it inspire me to join the Philippine scouting because of their campaign to let our young generation be an AGENT OF CHANGE regardless of their status in life. . and one of the mechanism is to involve them in this kind of campaign in order for them to be Godly, knowledgeable in life morally and spiritually, learn survival techniques, learn on how to help others, and develop their leadership skills.

for almost 3 years, we are all encountered the challenges of covid-19 pandemic, so this is the rigjt avenue to help them little by liitle forget that nightmares. So two in one target for long term solutions: 1st, develop them to be an agent of change, 2nd, helping them to cope up with their bad experiences contributed by the pandemic.

this might be costly a liitle than ordinary brand, but my goal is to let them experience the quality and durable one.

Their Needs - more or less estimated costs:
1. 10 pcs of quality camping tent - brand: ace or colemam 4-5k
philippine peso eachx30 = 50k
2. beddings for 30 students - 700-1k each set x 30 = 21-30k
3. cooking materials/utensils - 10k
- Big pot/caldron/rice cooker - manual not electric one
- ladle big/long
- frying pan medium size
- kitchen knife set
4. Rope, tarp for kitchen set up, pails, tub, and other related
materials in camping. - 7k
5. Scouting Uniform - 2k per set
