My mom gave her phone to my niece who got hers mugged, and I just want to give my mom a new one.
Phones are very essential and expensive nowadays. It pains me that my nanay doesn't have one to contact her friends and loved ones now. She just likes to call her friends and take pictures of her plants and send to them (photo is by her). She has always been kind and helped other people, and now I hope others will help her too.
Last week, we bought a brand new phone as a gift for my niece. We got mugged and the new phone was taken, along with other things, and my niece was devastated. My kind mother decided to give her the phone she has so she won't cry anymore.
I'm not asking for much. We still have to pay monthly for the stolen expensive phone. This means we don't have enough for a new one for at least 2 years. It was a supposed to be a gift that will last for years.
It hurts that people who steal get so much without working for it. It makes me sad that my mom can't even have a phone, that she decided to sacrifice hers to make another happy, just because some people can't buy their own and have to steal from others.
Please help us. We don't need a fancy phone, just one that can be on par of what she gave away. Just 1$ can help.
I love my mom and I just want her to be comfortable and not have to worry about things. She's old and retired, and she worked hard to be able to afford a gift for someone else.
