Weekly Dialysis

Greetings to everyone,

I am reaching out to let you know that I am kicking off a campaign to help me and my family with my medical bills, and we need your help. My name is Marlyn Marquez, "Inday" is my nickname and that is what most people had known to call me. I am undergoing dialysis sessions twice weekly due to my chronic kidney disease stage 5, congestive heart failure, and diabetes. My children have been supporting my medical expenses since the very start including the times when I was hospitalized. They both have spent all their savings just for me to continue my dialysis sessions and they are now drowning in debt because of my medical expenses. My children are still trying their best up until now to support me, but they have already exhausted every means and resource they could to come up with enough amount to keep my dialysis sessions going. However, I can see the struggles my children are having as they both have families of their own to feed and they’re only earning enough to make ends meet with their jobs. My husband is also a person with a disability and he himself is trying his best to help as much as he could by nursing me every day in his own way. I am trying my best to stay strong amidst the difficulty my family is facing because of me as I can see how they all struggle just to keep me alive but, it pains me every time as a mother to see my children suffering because of my illness. My family has given up so much already and I’d like to help them however I could as this illness takes time and the longer am in this condition the harder it is for the people around me to cope financially.
