Good day everyone! My name is Colleen and I'm posting a campaign for my younger brother John. He is 24 years old and is being admitted at Silliman University Medical Center (SUMC) since October 15th. My brother started having fever on the 12th, with vomiting and diarrhea. We then had him checked on the 14th and received prescription. His temperature was 39C, and on the next day became 36C. He got better but still felt like vomiting. On the evening, he was suddenly having seizures so we rushed him to the hospital.
It's already the 23rd or October and still no definite findings despite running series of tests. The initial findings were Septic vs Metabolic Encephalopathy and Sepsis from Intra-Abdominal Infection.
The tests that he underwent so far were Lumbar Pat, CT Scan, Xray, and Joint Aspiration. He also is undergoing Dialysis and he's on his 4th session as of today with no significant improvement as his creatinine is still high.
He is currently taking so many medicines and steroids for his autoimmune, and if this does not work, he has to undergo plasma exchange.
We are humbly asking for your financial help, as our bills are ongoing and we badly need to pay for his ongoing dialysis and over-the-counter medicines. Our hospital bill has also increased to 400k+.
