Medical Care for Sammy and Chocola

On the morning of Oct 5, 2022, we lost our dog Lyla to Leptospirosis and in the afternoon, our dog Sammy tested positive for Erlichiosis. This is equivalent to dengue for dogs. Lyla's confinement for 6 days and burial cost Php 30,000 (USD 500) and now Sammy's medical needs are even more expensive. As of Oct 7, just 3 days confinement, Sammy's blood tests, medicines and blood transfusion has also reached 30,000 (USD 500) and he's not out of the woods yet. Oct 7, Sammy is having nose bleeds and Chocola our other dog also tested positive for Erlichiosis and got confined too.

We love our dogs dearly and want to give them a fighting chance but its difficult to simultaneously pay for three dogs' emergency care. I don't know how long Sammy and Chocola will be confined but the bills will continue to pile up each day of their confinement. I estimate that their expenses may reach 1800 to 2000 USD and we don't have that amount.

I am appealing to you if you find it in your heart, please consider donating to support the emergency veterinary expenses of our dogs, Sammy and Chocola. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and may God bless you.
