My mother was a teacher who had a passion for working with children. Sadly, she was diagnosed with stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD) last April and was taken to the hospital for urgent dialysis. She has to do dialysis right now three times a week.
She needs a kidney transplant, so I started this effort to raise money for it so that we can spend more time with her.
