end poverty, feed the hungry

We are members of the Christian Alliance Church in Puerto Princesa, Palawan who are trying to raise funds for the Church Outreach located in Purok Buhanginan, Barangay San Manuel, Puerto Princesa Palawan in the Philippines. Christian Alliance Fellowship envisioned that by 2025 the church will produce 300 disciples who will make disciples that will make disciples fellowshipping in friendly, caring, and compassionate communities for the Glory of God. Part of the Mission statement of the church is to plant additional churches that will proclaim JESUS CHRIST as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. Currently, Purok Buhanginan has a population of 1,600 houses with a minimum of 3 to 6 members per household. There is no access to water and electricity, no school and church inside the community. The primary source of living is fishing and construction workers. The church has begun the work in the said community through the Weekly Feeding program. There are 70 to 80 starving children being served every week through our volunteers and community officers. We aim to acquire a church lot and building as a place of worship within the same premises to better serve the people inside the community through holistic ministry. This will be a great way of reaching out to every family suffering from poverty, hunger, no education, and early marriage. The needs include: Lot and Church Building - 350,000.00 Sound System - 10,000.00 Acoustic Guitar- 15,000.00 Total 375,000.00 Some of the expected impacts are: Will be able to accommodate more needy kids from the inside out of the community Illiteracy level among children in slums reduced Crimes were reduced in the community due to youth who changed attitudes about life. Gospel working in the life of people in the community as a result of evangelized people in 5 to 10 years. Needy children of food especially those suffering from hunger join the feeding program and achieve normal weight. Parenting skills developed and instilled in every parent who attended the weekly lessons. Dysfunctional families that affect family ties and create family conflicts ushered to Christ and changed the behavior of the parents and children. We want to reach out to various sources to help us raise funds for this project. As we want to help the community to flourish and achieve wholeness in Christ by starting this fundraising page.
