Hello everyone, My name is Hamzah and I am from Bali, Indonesia. I used to work with a cruise ship company for more than 10 years in the US. However, due the Covid-19 pandemic, I have not worked for more than a year and a half. During this time, I have had no income and I am struggling to survive and provide for my family. My wife and I have spent all our savings. We have also sold most of our possessions including our lovely wedding rings. This made us very sad to have to do, but the situation in Bali is terrible. There are no jobs available that I can earn money because Bali relies on tourism. Since there are no travelers most of the hotels and restaurants have closed. I’m the backbone of my family. I have 3 kids, 2 boys and 1 little girl. Making sure that they get their education has been a challenge as well. Even paying my house rent and buying food is almost impossible. At present cruise ships have started to sail again and in order to get my contract renewed, I have to provide some documentation such as a medical exam report and my C1D Visa. I am hoping that through this campaign I can get some help to get my family back on its feet. My aim is to see my family through this by keeping a roof over their heads and attempt to get my contract renewed so that I can provide for my family. We cannot make this happen without prayers and financial support. No amount is too small; every single dollar is very appreciated. Lastly, please share my story with anyone who would also be willing to cover our family in prayer. We have been blessed in many different ways throughout this difficult time and we know God has been and will continue to be faithful.
