Typhoon Odette changed a lot of lives especially for the residents of Olango Island in Lapu lapu City, Cebu Philippines. A lot of families lost their homes since the majority of the residents on the island used light materials for their respective homes because that is what they can afford. Fishing is the major livelihood and boats were not spared from the destruction brought by the typhoon. With no home and a very limited option to earn good money, they need some helping hand to start.
We aim to extend our help as we already started giving assistance to some but as much as we want to help everyone, our resources are limited. The people from the island mostly need food and assistance so that they can start rebuilding their homes. Any amount you can share will go to these families.
