"OPLAN ATOP" (A ROOF and HOUSE REBUILDING PROJECT)

We have never imagined that in just one night the safest place that we used to be in whenever there is a typhoon will be ruined.???

On December 16, 2021, a strong typhoon with an international category of 4 hit my province in the Philippines. Landed at exactly 7pm, all of us were had goosebumps hearing the scream-like blowing of the wind. It was really strong! Energy was cut off and the total darkness witnessed the wrath that typhoon Odette (Rai). It was the scariest 4 hours of our lives. My family (my mom, my youngest brother my nephew and my sister and her family was in the province when Odette poured the strongest wind we have ever experienced. Me, in the city, as I am working, rode 5 hours with my brother-in-law after Odette's visit in my province to check my family in the province. As expected, our house was one of the many houses that the typhoon have destructed. I felt sad, angry and at the same felt shock seeing that the place we once called house was now destroyed and shattered into ashes. There was no one in their except the dog who wathces over our things. My family were all safe in the evacution center. My nephhew still in shock. My mom cried a lot as she tells story of how they survived and have asked me what to do next.

I was still blank at that very moment, but to give them to hope after what happned, I had promised my mom to rebuilt the house. I made a small hut for them to stay while I am still waiting for my loan to be approved.

Today, I am writing this asking everyone that is reading this to be the pillar of the house we are going to rebuild. I am not asking for big amount cause I know how hard life is and we are struggling just to live. If you can donate, it will be a big help. If you can share this, it will also be a huge help.
