Our late grandfather, in his short sightedness and a series of poor decisions, is a victim of a swindler, causing our family to lost the whole deposit and some immovable assets which is supposedly to be processed into the inheritance.
That's not really matter anymore. However, there is a surviving asset which become problematic. Namely since its from an older line of inheritance (from our great great grandmother), we are obligated to follow it trough. Its an old house along with a plot of land, which to be inherited to the next kin or direct descendant. Since other branches of the family has no biological children and/or deceased, it will eventually fall to my mother (daughter of the next kin). The house and the land is currently under the custody of my grandmother (the next kin of the deceased).
The problem is, my late grandfather has a biological daughter too, which is my aunt who is infertile. Strictly speaking, due to her condition, she will not be able to inherit the house. However, it does not remove her from inheritance.
Thus before he passed away, my late grandfather has written into his will to ask us to provide sufficient compensation to his daughter for the plot of land, which is her right. He wished to preserve the land along with the house as whole, if possible. Such is also the wish expressed by our great great grandmother in her will, as well. Such compensation is originally supposed to come from our portion of inheritance, which now have gone poof, as I mentioned before.
However, Im currently the sole income provider for me, my mom, grandfather and grandmother. At minimum wage. Which is reduced in this pandemy. Realistically, its impossible for current me alone to provide the compensation for my aunt, barring some miracle happened.
Which is why I made this campaign.
If you have it in you, I would humbly ask for your assistance. I don't want our family relationship to be soured by the inheritance problem, since it will leave a lot of bad taste. And honestly I don't know where else to ask. A little goes a long way and any amount is very much appreciated. Thank you very much.
