On December 16, 2021 around 0600 hours the "Thypoon Odette" hit the City and adjacent islads of Surigao, causing damages over millions of US dollars. Thanksfully there was not a life lost.
Unfortunately, my house was one of those destroyed by the magnitute of the Thypoon. In addition to all the houses of my wife relatives, as people could see online by visisting Surigao Thypoon Odette disaster photos.
Once again, Unfortunately, in the Philippines we do not have the same priviledges as in USA were we have FEMA, and home insurance. It's why our situation it's very "CRITICAL", as we have been informed by the government authorities that we may not have electricity for up to 4-6 months.
Currently there are not relieve funds, neither any type of government assistance. The food its hard to find unless driving over 2 hrs, the same with gasoline and diesel. Material to rebuild the houses and bussiness, has been almost impossible to obtain as they are all gone and when they become available the prices triple their normal price.
We have children's, cenior citizen's, orphan's, that have no money or a way to help themself. It's the main reason of why I have created this "FundraiserMe" fund, in order to render aid to all of those in need that we are 100% sure that they are "NEVER" going to see asistance from the local and state goverment agencies.
Therefore, I am asking to everyone out there reading this plead, to please help us to help ourself and to help others like us during this must critical time of our lifes. While other's move on and our kids education had to stop for an uncertain future.
