We have set up this page to raise money for the most amazing special baby girl, my adoptive daughter Shai who is only 9 years old and battling Stage 4 cancer.
God gave me Shai when she was only 3 years old, her mom abandoned her, and ever since then we never heard from her again.
This will be used to support us during her medication. This will also be used to fund any private treatment should Shai's current treatment not go to plan. Shai will also use some of this money to create memories like days out when she is well enough.
She has sadly been diagnosed with extensive bulky Hodgkin's Lymphoma in June 2021, basically the worst diagnosis for this type of Cancer he could get.
This means that my poor little angel had so much cancer in her body even the doctors were shocked Shai could still manage her day-to-day tasks. Shai also has what's called "Bulky" disease this means she had a huge mass in her stomach the size of a 500ml mineral water bottle. Also, her spleen is totally swollen and infected with cancer cells and the doctor said it has to be removed.
We are all devasted that Shai has this especially me. My husband is paralyzed from the waist down and could only move around in his wheelchair, his right hand is also deformed and he can't work because of this. I also have 4 biological kids that aside from Shai I need to take care of.
It's like a tornado came and ripped through our lives. to be honest I'm such a strong person but this has really steamrollered all over us. We continue to be strong for her but it really is a battle for all of us but most of all to our precious Shai.
Shai is such a kind, caring lovely girl who likes Minecraft and Leggo Land games, her bike, dancing, singing, and playing with her siblings. She is a shy and timid girl at first but when you get to know her you will see she is so funny and can be very cheeky.
She has been through so much already and we want to help by trying to raise some money to help her to survive through this horrendous time.
The tears, disappointments, fear, and worries she has faced so far we would not wish on anyone especially a child. The money raised will help Shai to make some amazing lasting memories when he is going through the worst time of his life.
It will also help with any medical equipment he needs, travel costs to the hospital 2 hours away, foods and lots of other extra costs incurred by us. It will help towards the financial strain we currently being faced!
Last Sept 29 she has spleen removal surgery and during the surgery, she suffered cardiac arrest but in God's grace, she manages to survive. Now she is in an induced coma and intubated her lungs are now starting to collapse.
So aside from monetary help, we need lots of prayer for her survival since things are not going well with her at the moment
This will also be used to fund extra treatment/private treatment should poor Shai need it.
