Good day, my name is Ingrid and I am currently living here in the Philippines. I am 34 years old and have been working for 15 years now. Recently, I have applied to a college in Bow Valley, Canada to continue my studies.
I have 5 siblings and have been working for years now. My dream is to study internationally, in Canada, to be able to get a better job in my home country. I am married with one lovely daughter. Last February 2021, we have found out that she was being abused by our live-in caregiver. I had to quit my job and stay home to take care of her. While my daughter has recovered and is doing well, the event made me realize a lot of things. I am now working towards my goal to be an international student to be able to provide a better future for my daughter. I have applied in the supply chain management course in Bow Valley College.
My parents worked really hard to help me and my 5 other siblings when we were younger, but I think it is time for me to ease my parent's burden and to achieve my goals with the help of this platform. My parents can no longer work because of old age and I need to find an alternative way to pay my fees to complete my studies. Please help me in this dream.
