A tent for a friend

I met a homeless guy at walmart at San Leandro,California that help me to park and clean my car in exchange of food. I want to help him by giving a tent and other necessities because I usually see him sleep under the tree,beside the shade of my car at night i usually see him walking around at park. I only need a small amount to buy the tent and the kit for him.
