Igang Elementart School is one of the medium sized. It is one rural schools thein Pototn, Iloilo. Every year it caters 400 learners from Kindergarten to 6th Grade. Most of its learners are in poverty to above peoverty line - parents of these learners are mostly laborers with no regular to no income in a year. As one of those guardians and parent, I felt sad seeing learners suffer becaus the school itself cannot provide the safe and adequate facilities to these learners. In spite the government's effort to provide some operating expenses, there are still perennial problems that have not been answered. - dilapidatedtables, blackboard infested with termites, damage CR walls and doors, not enought learning materials to name a few. Because of these predicaments, I am knocking at your generous hearts. This initiative is to help teachers provide better facilities and efficient instruction to learners.
