I'm reaching out for support as I've been hit with a devastating wave of illnesses among my 15 cats. It started with one cat who tested positive for FCOV and FHV last March 31st, and despite initial recovery, she sadly passed away on April 12th after a sudden decline. We thought the heartbreak would end there. Unfortunately, the virus spread to other cats, and worse they tested positive on all 4 FCOV, GIA, FPV and FCV, we've lost 7 precious lives in less than 2 weeks. Currently, 3 cats are left fighting for survival at the vet, 1 is under home care, and 4 are being closely monitored despite showing no symptoms.
The vet bills are piling up, and we are struggling to keep up. I've managed to cover initial expenses, but we are facing a financial crisis with estimated costs of PHP 50,000 by the end of the week.
