Kz Palma Peñarubia

Supporting KZ Palma Peñarubia in Recovery.

On March 8th, KZ Palma Peñarubia our dear friend, was on her way home with his husband riding in a single motorcycle vehicle when suddenly they was hit by a pick up truck, which left her laid up in Iloilo Doctors Hospital, She obtained swelling in the left tempoparietal area, Colon injury secondary blunt abdominal trauma, multiple rib fractures and a neck fracture and injury in the left arm amongst other injuries. KZ is blessed to have survived and is now recovering facing a long journey ahead. Sadly her husband died in that accident, leaving behind two children. We have set up this Gofundme to gather and offer our loving support to this dear KZ as the immediate and future costs are already mounting. Contributions of all sizes will be most welcomed and appreciated. The funds will go towards covering the direct costs of KZ's recovery as well as mitigating some of the impact of his current inability to work with any leftover funds being donated to a similar causes trusted by KZ.
KZ is super lucky to have no spinal cord injury. She also had a bleed on the brain - again miraculously without causing lasting harm. Beyond that, she’s got smashed and had a multiple cuts and bruises on his face and body. KZ is still in hospital. Her amazing medical team are predicting she will eventually make a full recovery. The physical part of which is predicted to take 4 - 5 months, with some of the rehab to enable full health lasting longer. KZ is unlucky to live in a country with no free medical services and so little government social support, but not for all of the costs of dealing with an injury this serious. We'd love to give KZ a chance to feel supported and held, able to focus on his recovery and provide with a small cushion as she works to heal herself and reestablish his livelihood in the best way possible. We are aiming 500,000 pesos to support KZ throughout this time. This will ensure that she does not need to worry about her financial commitments, she is enabled to acquire the rehabilitative treatments she needs, and is able to focus 100% on his recovery and getting back to her fullest health.
