In 2014, I was diagnosed with Lupus. Shortly after, I faced another devastating diagnosis — Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) stage 5. This marked the beginning of an extraordinary battle. I spent several months in the hospital, enduring endless tests, treatments, and challenges. Living with CKD meant undergoing regular dialysis treatments, each session accompanied by physical pain and emotional strain. Despite the hardships, I chose to stand strong and face my struggles with courage and hope. The journey has been far from easy. As time passed, financial resources ran dry, and affording my maintenance medications became increasingly difficult. But through it all, I held on — trusting that brighter days would come. Recently, after 10 years of fighting this condition, I had to undergo another IJ (internal jugular) operation because my AV graft access on my left arm had been damaged. This emergency procedure was crucial, but it comes with a higher risk of infection, which deeply worries me. To improve my condition and ensure safer access for my dialysis treatments, I urgently need to undergo an AV graft operation. This procedure is not just important — it is essential for my survival. The AV graft is my lifeline, the crucial access point that allows me to receive the dialysis treatments that keep me alive. Without it, my chances of living a longer life are at serious risk. With this, I am humbly reaching out for help. I am seeking financial support to make this operation possible — to give me a better chance at living safely and comfortably. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity would mean the world to me. No amount is too small, and every bit of support brings me closer to healing. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for any help you may be willing to offer.
