Introducing Cookie, our fur baby
. On January 12, 2025, Cookie, a 6-year-old Shih Tzu dog, was diagnosed with kidney stones. On January 14,2025 she was also diagnosed with anaplasmosis and canine distemper. On the day she was diagnosed with both canine distemper and anaplasmosis, she was taken to the
Petlink Canine Distemper Center and placed in confinement. She was deemed distemper-free following seven days of therapy and confinement, and a prescription for ongoing medication for her blood parasite was issued. Cookie was taken to
Petlink - Caybiga, Caloocan on February 10, 2025, for the removal of kidney stones. During the procedure, Drs. JZ and NA discovered that her spleen was discolored and needed to be removed right away because it was spurred on by her renal issues. After an hour of surgery, Cookie's spleen and kidney stone were successfully removed. Thank you so much, Petlink Caybiga family! She is currently recuperating and under their care.
