Please Help Us Take Our Furbabies Home

Hi, this is a very long and stressful story short:

In March 2024, we took in Nova, a cat whose owners were no longer able to care for her. After bringing her to the vet for vaccinations and neutering, she tragically contracted Feline Panleukopenia Virus (FPV) from the clinic.

Following a week in the ICU, our beloved cat Iras began showing symptoms of FPV and, despite our best efforts, passed away after battling the virus for four days. Amid this heartbreak, Nova's medical care continued, and her stay in the hospital lasted three weeks.

She was then placed in quarantine at my home for six weeks. Unfortunately, during her time at the vet, Nova also contracted Feline Covid, which later mutated into Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) due to her weakened immune system and the stress of her previous treatments.

She spent another month at the vet receiving life-saving care. Throughout these trials, our savings, initially set aside for transporting our cats to South Africa, were exhausted by the escalating vet bills.

While it has been a privilege to care for these animals and provide them with the treatment they needed, I am now seeking support from my community to help cover the cost of bringing Nova and my other cat, Lunar, with me to South Africa.

The fees for their transportation are significant, and after everything we've been through, there is no way I can bear to leave my precious companions behind. All donations will go directly toward the costs of flying my cats from Vietnam to South Africa, ensuring they can join me in my new home.

Thank you so very much for your kindness and support. I vouch to pay it forward one day when I am financially able.
