Our dearest and loving mother is currently battling a life-threatening condition called Thyroid Storm, and she is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Thyroid Storm is a rare but serious complication of hyperthyroidism, characterized by a sudden surge of thyroid hormones. It can rapidly escalate, causing a dangerously high heart rate, fever, confusion, and even organ failure. My mom is facing immense challenges right now. While we will be utilizing Philhealth to assist with hospital billing and may potentially be granted 0 billing upon discharge, we urgently need help with her daily medication and laboratory expenses, which are estimated to be around ₽5,000 to ₽12,000 per day. These medications are crucial for stabilizing her condition, controlling her heart rate, and managing the severe symptoms of Thyroid Storm.
