It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of my sister Christine Ann Ibarreta today, 02 July 2021 at 2:07 PM. Like a true SHEro, she was at the frontline during this pandemic assisting the DOT to revive the tourism industry as President of the HSMA (Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International) while being the concurrent Group DOSM of Golden Phoenix Hotel. She has served this industry and proudly represented the Filipino brand of hospitality for more than 3 decades. She acquired COVID-19 last April, has suffered from multiple complications, and was hospitalized for more than 2 months at St. Luke's Medical Center BGC.
