This is my father, Noel Tanoja. Before the stroke that left him unable to move freely his left arm and leg, he is an independent and strong-willed person. We relied on his hardwork and perserverance to provide for the needs of the family. Even now that he has grandchildren, he still cares for our needs particularly our future. It has been more than a year that my father is unable to work and was forced to retire and relied solely on his monthly pension for himself and my mother, both of them are senior citizens. However, this financial means are not enough to cover the medical expenses for his recovery. Even the individual earnings of my other siblings and myself are not sufficient to provide for their basic needs. With all that said, I am knocking on your generous hearts to share with my father a small amount for my his health care needs and the rest of the money shared will be utilized for a start-up business so that my parent will be self-sufficient.
