Help in Making a Student's Dream Come True

Hello, everyone.

My name is Kristine, and I am a third-year college student from the Philippines. Honestly, I was contemplating whether I should ask for help or not, but as the year pass by and I am still left with nothing, it makes me worry and upset. I know my story is very different from what is usually posted here, which makes me feel somewhat guilty because I'm asking for something not related to medicine or treatment but for my school essentials. However, I am still hoping someone will lend a hand and listen to my story.

I am already in my third year in college now, and we are working on our research paper for this semester and business research for the next semester. It really worries me because I am only using my 5-year-old Android phone to make our paper. I have no other laptop to use. I am really in need of a tablet right now (since tablet is more cheaper than laptop and can use it conveniently) especially now that we are now working on our research paper. Having a reliable device would greatly improve my productivity and allow me to complete my research and other school projects more efficiently.

My family can't also cover the full price for the gadget either as we are still struggling financially. I have downloaded earning apps just so I can save up a little but it's still not enough. This situation has really decreased my productivity because searching and reading online sources take a lot of time and energy, and my old, laggy phone makes my work even slower. I have saved up a little from my allowance, but sometimes I have to spend it on school and family expenses.

I have been thinking about this matter for over a year now because I was preparing for our research paper, but now that the research paper is here, I still haven't achieved my goal. I know this is an unusual request, but I believe investing in education is worth the effort to make one's dreams come true.
