My name is Nichole Añana, 21 years of age and I am a second-year Doctor of Dental Medicine student at Misamis University here in Philippines. I
am passionate about my education and dedicated to achieving my dream of becoming a dentist. However, I am currently facing significant financial challenges that threaten my ability to continue my studies. Coming from a low-income background, my family struggles to make ends meet. My father does not have a stable job, and my mother is unable to work. This situation has made it incredibly difficult for me to afford my tuition fees and other educational expenses. As a full-time student, I am unable to take on a job, and the limited job opportunities in my area have further compounded my financial difficulties. Despite these obstacles, I have remained committed to my studies and have consistently achieved good grades. I am determined to make a difference in my community as a future dentist.
