Hey guys, this is my son Dominic, we aren't that successful in life, we don't have that much fortune, as a parent, there's nothing more heart-wrenching than seeing your child have a dream that you can’t help them fulfill. My son has always had a love for photography, a passion that I’ve watched grow over the years. Unfortunately, our financial situation has made it nearly impossible to provide him with the one thing that could help him pursue that passion—a camera. We're not rich. In fact, we’ve struggled for a long time just to keep things afloat. Every month is a balancing act between bills, groceries, and the basics that keep our family going. There’s little room for extras, even when those extras mean the world to someone we love. My son never complains, but I know it weighs on him. His dream is simple, not extravagant—he just wants a camera to call his own. He spends hours researching photography techniques, watching tutorials online, and talking about all the photos he wants to take. It’s not a fleeting interest; it’s something he truly cares about. He’s been so patient, so understanding of our situation. I’ve seen him try to earn his own money, doing odd jobs in the neighborhood just to save up a little here and there. But the truth is, no matter how much he saves, it’s not enough for the camera he dreams of. Every time I see him browsing online, looking at secondhand options, my heart breaks a little more. I wish we could give him this one thing, but right now, it’s just out of reach. Our financial difficulties aren’t new. Like many families, we’ve faced unexpected medical bills, rising living costs, and the constant pressure to make ends meet. We’ve cut back on so much already—meals, trips, even necessary repairs around the house. It’s hard to admit, but we’re just not in a place where we can afford anything beyond the essentials. I’m sharing this because I don’t know where else to turn. I’ve never been one to ask for help, but my son deserves the chance to pursue something he loves. He doesn’t ask for much, and it’s not fair that we can’t give him this. If there’s anyone who might be able to help, whether it’s an old camera you no longer need or a small contribution towards one, it would mean the world to him—and to us. My son is creative, hard-working, and so full of potential. I know that if he had the chance, he could create something truly special. All he needs is a camera to get started. We may not have much, but the one thing we’ve always tried to give our children is support for their dreams. Right now, we just need a little help to make that possible. Thank you for reading and for any help you might be able to offer, my goal is only 400 but fundraiser needs 1000 so it's okay if you don't fulfill the full amount, all my baby needs is a tool that could help his career, when I saw him playing the piano in my phone I told my husband to buy him a piano, and he did buy a 20$ one, he went crying when he saw it on his birthday, and we are planning to surprise him again with his bucket list on December, please make our Christmas memorizable, it isn’t easy to share, but I believe that with a little kindness, we can help my son’s dream come true.
