A few months ago, I was diagnosed with a Lacunar infarction and bilateral hypertension—commonly known as a stroke.
While our HMO covered my hospitalization and cardiologist fees, the neurologist fee and outpatient medication were not.
The costs of the ongoing treatments, along with monthly follow-ups with the doctors and additional tests advised for fatty liver, which are also not covered by our HMO, have depleted my savings and left me struggling to meet other financial obligations.
Unforeseen expenses, such as caring for my parents, both of whom are also undergoing medication for diabetes and hypertension, and maintaining our home upkeep, have only added to the financial strain. I've managed to handle these expenses up until now, but the burden is becoming overwhelming.
I'm seeking assistance to cover the costs of my medication and neurologist fees so I can focus on my recovery.
Your support would mean the world to me and allow me to reach a better financial position. Thank you for being a part of my journey to better health.
