Our Butter, a sweet, five-month-old girl with a spirit as bright as her smile. Unfortunately, her journey has been filled with unexpected challenges. At a young age, Butter was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a rare liver disease that affects newborns. This condition prevents bile from flowing properly, causing liver damage. To combat this, Butter underwent a Kasai procedure, a surgical intervention to help her liver function better. While this procedure has provided some relief, it's become evident that a liver transplant is the only long-term solution to ensure Butter has a healthy and fulfilling life. Time is of the essence.
