My name is Fiona Garcia 22 years old, a mother and a wife. My husband is a farmer and I work in Manila as a barista. We have a 10 month baby boy. Last night while we were sleeping, a strong wind blew hard, so hard it made the mango tree collapsed and it fell right on top of our hut, we never expected it to happen because the tree is supposed to protect our home but when it happened my husbands instincts protected both me and our baby with his body and now he is suffering from back injury. He is a seasonal mango vendor, sometimes he make coals from old trees and branches. But at the moment he finds it difficult to even stand up let alone cut branches to make coals. I was not able to come to work because of floods. Our foam was destroyed and we are living with a neighbor at the moment. We do not have much to rebuild our home and we are humbly asking for help financially, we need to keep our baby in a safe environment. And rebuilding the hut would cost a lot and we need to replace the roof with plain sheet and to make it stronger a few materials needs to be replaced like the posts for the huts frame. We are thankful for our neighbors who lent us thair roof and even food during this typhoon. But like us they also suffered damages from their poultries. Please, if we ever manage to reach your kind hearts, I will too share your blessings to them. Know that people around us will also be a part of your goodwill. Kindly leave your contact email with your donations so we can thank you directly and send you updates of progress. Thank you and God bless
