Adolfo John, an 8-month-old baby was admitted to Maria Estrella Hospital last January 25, 2024, due to fever and urinary tract infection but the medical doctor found out that he has a heart congenital disease through the 2D Echo procedure. Her mother brought him to the Philippine Heart Center for further assessment of his heart condition. According to his doctor, he needs to undergo an open-heart surgery under bypass as soon as possible which would cost Php800,000.00. The family cannot afford the treatment because of their financial status; therefore, they seek assistance. Baby Adolfo is Ms. Aira's younger child, a solo parent. His mother is the only one who supports them in their daily needs through having a sari-sari store. According to his mother, her child acquired the disease during her conception because she got measles in her 14 trimester which contributed to her child's condition. She did not expect that her child would have a rare disease but she is hopeful for possible healing through heart surgery.
