Why Are We Doing This?

Here are current situations of students in sito bohung, tasiman, lake sebu, south cotabato Philippines.

-Sulads, sits on one of the remostest areas of lake sebu, that can only be traversed by foot.

-The school houses 60 learners excluding parents sometimes join their classes.

-The school doesn't have a black board, they use a piece of wood salvaged from a damaged house instead.

-irontically, this learning center lacks fundamental learning materials for basic education pupils such as story and academic books, reading and writing suppiles, coloring books and flash cards.

-To date, two volunteer teachers are sharing the same center with just a board serving as a partition for grade levels.

-these kids go to school barefoot with an empty stomach.

-Given their distance from the nearest town, they lack acces to quality healthcare and medical supplies

"Just a back story, when i was doing my undergraduate thesis in architectural school, I immersed myself in the vibrant culture of the T'boli tribe for two weeks and i studied how their way traditional architecture. The unwavering support from the T'boli community, in collaboration with the municipality of Lake sebu, proved instrumental in elevating my thesis to great heights.
Inspired by their generosity, I resolved to pay it forward in due time.
