My mom has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer Stage 4. She has been admitted to the ICU for almost a month and our medical bills have amounted to almost a million peso now due to the medications.and procedures that has been done . Our pockets have been drained due to her previous chemo,radiation and brachy therapies. As long as mom's fighting for her life, we are willing to do everything to extend her life and let her be with us longer.
My mom is a very kind and warm person. When she was younger and stronger, she used to be a giver. She always sees to it that when someone needs help, she can give a hand in ways she can. She's a loving wife and mom. A passionate and empathetic teacher to her students, a sister and a mother to her colleagues. We believe that despite her illness, she should be given the chance to fight for her life and be with her loved ones.
