My husband has been suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). He also had pulmonary tuberculosis. His left lung is severely infected, and he just breathes with the aid of an oxygen-releasing machine. He also has thryroid cancer that's why his thyroid gland had to be removed. Due to this, his body has weakened and his health condition is fast declining. He is currently in a hospital after he was confined thrice (since October 2023) in another hospital where we spent around $5,000. Lately we have been billed $2,000 for 3 day and we're not expecting him to be discharged anytime soon.
We are already in an emotional and financial distress.
