My baby was born woth Esophageal Atresia and was operated after her 6th and 16th day of life at National Children's Hospital in the Philippines. She is now 1 year and 3 months but still that tube (peg tube ) in her belly is still inserted because she is unable to be fed normally which is through the mouth... She still needs to undergo a lot of procedures like Upper GI Series to check if the food given in the mouth won't go to her lungs. She also needs to undergo Physical Therapy because she still can't walk and stand on her own. And also Occupational Therapy for her swallowing. And now she has to change her milk formula for her to be able to cope up with the standard height and weight. She also needs KuB ultrasound, and HRCA to check if she has genetic issues or whatcthey call Vacteral. This is my first time to do this. Hopefully, God will touch your heart and hands to help us.
