Our Papa Fred, Alfredo Jurcales, a very kind-hearted man, 72 years old, has been confined at the Riverside Medical Center last October 12, 2023 due to Severe Pneumonia with heart complications. His mitral and aortic valves have already been replaced by prosthetic bovine tissue last 2004 at the Chinese General Hospital. It has been 19 years since and a part of his mitral valve has already worn out, showing backflow of blood. The family has already exhausted all of our financial resources. We truly understand that these are difficult times for all of us after the pandemic, but we are still hoping and knocking at your generous hearts for help so he may continue to receive treatment, be able to recover and create more happy memories with us. We love our father so much and we will do everything we can to help him. We opt to transfer him to a Heart Institute, a government facility, in Iloilo City but his doctors advised us that we need to treat his pneumonia first before we transfer and address his cardiac problem.
