I'm Drei Ocon 33 years old, from the Philippines. I was diagnosed last June with syphilis and HIV-1, and my cd4 is already below 200 which means that my immune system has failed and I am easily susceptible to disease, I am very worried about my condition because I got sick and could hardly stand because of the pain that was making me suffer. I was very ashamed of why this happened to me, I almost wanted to end my life because I didn't know what to do. I lost my job and lived with my brother. I almost don't know where to get money for the prescription the doctor gave me so I don't get tuberculosis, in addition to the drugs to treat my syphilis. Although ARV medicine for HIV is free, the laboratories and other medicines for syphilis are not free.
