Cosplay is a performance art where people can wear costumes of characters they want to represent. My favorite event during cosplay conventions is low-cost cosplay because even though there are financial difficulties in my life, I can still showcase my creativity in using everyday items like toothpaste sachet as a spear. It might seem odd to others but because of my resourcefulness, I have already won multiple awards!
Now, I have the opportunity to represent my country in an international cosplay event in
Japan on
October 2023! My partner in this endeavor is Ana Pat Sison and reaching this milestone is a very important event for small-time cosplayers like us. However, with great opportunity comes a great price to pay. The event organizer will cover the expenses for the event itself but there are still multiple costs with our travel to Japan:
- Domestic flights
- Travel taxes, transportation
- Food
We aim our best to represent the Philippines in this cosplay cultural event in Japan and we would greatly appreciate your support.
