Got Scammed. Please help!

Hi! My mother-in-law got scammed for 95, 000 pesos and we are so helpless where to find more funds to pay that big amount.

What happened was, someone called her pretending to be and said that her son, my husband was really and was confined to the hospital because of dengue and needed blood transfusion and that we need big amount of money to do the process. The scammer said that she had money on a check that's why she had no cash that time so she asked mama to send her cash instead. Unfortunately, mama believed her knowing that her youngest son in a life and death situation and could not think straight that time. She panicked and became hysterical. However, she had no amount of money to give since she only does laundry for other people for a living. So, she said to the scammer that she had nothing. Nevertheless, the scammer did not give up on her easily and asked mama if she had someone whom she could borrow some cash. Thus, mama asked help from a friend. To make the story short, that friend sent an amount upto 95k believing that it was me who asked for help when the truth is, It was not me.

Only later then they realized that they got scammed when they finally gotten to talk to us through call later after the money transactions were all done and successful. They reached out to us earlier but we were not able to answer them that made them believe the scammer more since I wasn't able to pick up. And now, they want us to pay all the money back. ?

I am just a public school teacher and my husband is a regular employee and could not earn 95k in 3 months. And they want us to return the money in the given timeframe. We had maxed out all our resources to pay half of it. But, we still have to pay the rest. We are now in dept because the of what happened and barely surviving a day having enough. We don't where to borrow or loan money anymore. We are just so helpless now. We can't just leave mama with all this problem by herself. She is now a senior and has health issues as well. We could not let her blame herself and worry about this and have sleepless nights.

So, I am knocking at your heart. Please help us. We are really down the gutter now. We are so hopeless. This is our last resort and we appreciate every help that you could send us and help mama pay off the amount.
