It’s never easy to ask for help, but I’m reaching out to you to request a donation for my father’s medical expenses. He is 86 years old and currently at the hospital due to pneumonia and chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 5. He had pleural effusion (water on the lungs) that went up to his heart and caused dyspnea (shortness of breath). He had this chronic condition for years, and when he got hospitalized on July 21, he was forced to have an emergency dialysis treatment. We are currently struggling to find a way to pay all the expenses at the hospital. They require a partial payment every day to proceed with the treatment, especially his dialysis (3x a week). the doctor is already asking for our consent to intubate the patient and transfer him to the ICU. As of now, the medical and hospital expenses are rising to $ 8,000 (PHP 450,000).
