Rescued Angel's Vetting Expenses Funds

Help us save this lovely angel named Rof.

Rof is an abandoned puppy. On the night of June the 30th, a car stopped in front of our village's gate, dumping a puppy. The puppy did not leave the area. She was just walking back and forth and the village guard fed her so she entered the village and stayed at the guard's side. They also told us that she would wait for cars at night and would approach them, as if checking if her family came back for her.

July 2, 2023. I was walking back home when I noticed the puppy was surrounded by people. She was crying nonstop and was just sitting in front of the village gate and she's not moving. They told me that she got hit by a car and the car did not even stop to check on her. One person tried to lift her up to move her aside so she won't get hit again but she cried so loud they got scared she's gonna bite. I did not lift her right away. I tried to make her comfy and gave her pets and comforted her. After awhile I tried to move her aside, she cried but I was successful. We gave her food and water and checked on her from time to time since I was working from home.

My partner and I has 13 cats and 2 dogs. Most were rescues too but we do not have an extra money to spare for her. We're also struggling making the ends meet but after bonding with this puppy for a short period of time, we got attached to her. We took her to the vet the next morning. We were ready to risk our savings. Tried to post it on fb but it did not gain much attention. We raised 350 PHP. We were relieved. It was enough to cover the doctor's fee. But the confinement, xray, and CBC were kind of expensive. We can only afford the confinement and xray that day so we posted a tiktok video to raise funds. It was posted under both our accounts @patnugget and @creamrie on tiktok. Fortunately, it has gained attention and additional help came in. We are so grateful for all the help and support we were receiving but it's not enough yet to cover the whole vet expenses.

Xray results show that her legs were intact but her pelvic bone was damaged. Good thing she can still feel sensation on her hind legs. She can also poop and pee so it's a good sign. We were referred to a specialist to be assessed if they can perform a surgery and help her walk again. But expectations were sey and we were told there's also a risk of damaging the nerves around tne area and it's challenging. We're bringing her to the specialist this Friday for further assessment and to decide wether to get the surgery or she will turn into a special dog in a wheelchair. Of course, we want a quality life for her. We want to see her to running around our backyard but we will choose the best for her.

So please help us raise funds for her as we are also doing pain management for her. A single move of her body is too painful for her.
