On the banks of the Nasipit River, resides the beautiful village of Castilla. We are business school volunteers working for the Gawad Kalinga organization to help the village and its joyous population welcome you with open arms, as they did with us. Before the influx of the pandemic, Castilla was well-known in the area for its breathtaking river cruise experience and one-of-a-kind kayaking trails, including firefly watching. However, Covid and floods washed away the beauty and hard work of the people of Castilla. Now, the new generation of Castilla is actively working towards reviving their homeland, but this town, primarily consisting of boatmen, needs your support to regain the position it once held.
