Journey to healing and fighting Cancer!

Hello everyone!

I am a mom of two kids, 1 fur baby, and a very supportive husband. I am asking for your support and please stay with me in my journey to healing for my family. We have set up this crowdfunding to raise funds for my radiotherapy and chemotherapy and for awareness. It started when I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and possible Lymphoma. It grew rapidly and already spread to other parts of my body including my intestines. Ovarian cancer occurs when cells in or near the ovaries develop changes (mutations) in their DNA. A cell's DNA contains the instructions that tell the cell what to do. The changes tell the cells to grow and multiply quickly, creating a mass (tumor) of cancer cells. My uterus was removed (Hysterectomy) as well as both ovaries and fallopian tubes (salpingo-oophorectomy). Lymph nodes and other tissues were removed and tested to find out if they contain cancer and chemotherapy after the surgery which unfortunately was.

We did not know how this started and when but, it started as severe pain in my lower back, right side of my stomach. A tingling sensation in my right leg going down. I was not paying attention to the pain because I just thought that it was just the usual pain that you feel because of sitting for long hours while working or overworking your body with household chores or just because of your monthly period. But then I realized that the pain does not go away even with a higher dosage of painkillers and I told myself I need to have myself checked.

I was not thinking that it was a serious condition and can be cured right away with medications but I was stunned when my OB-Gyne told me I have cancer, spreading fast, and the tumor was already big after all of the tests. The first that came into my mind was my kids. They're still young and need me. I want to see them grow and have families of their own, but how will that happen if that 'PART' that you do not want to happen, happens? It scared me to death but I know that things happen for a reason. This challenge will not be given to me if I can't surpass it, right? A lot of people had supported me, cared, and have been there for me all throughout. Even the ovarian was cured at first and was on my way to remission but things got interesting when another cancer was found. Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, can you believe that? Still, we continued to fight and moved forward. It is not very easy as you think. The government support here in The Philippines is very complicated. If you want to be treated, you have to wait for your turn to be accommodated, and that will take a very long time since the assistance that you are seeking will have to go through a lot of people and organizations until you are no longer here in this world, like what happened to my son. That's one of the reasons I am fighting and wanting to live. There is nothing that can break me or put me down knowing I experienced this before and way, way worse than now. Also, there are still people waiting for me, praying for healing. I just raise it all up to him and told the Lord, it is your will and I will accept whatever will be the outcome of all of this.

So please, have yourself checked immediately if you feel anything you are not sure of. Prevention is always better than cure so please take care of yourself. Me and my family are forever grateful and appreciate all your support regardless if it is small, big, tangible, intangible, or whatever it is.
