I have been living in this city for 4 months now and noticed how there are always children running about to either beg for money or sell knick knacks. I always see them outside the building where I live and around the nearby malls. Talking to several of them, I came to understand that they do not go to school because their main concern is putting food on the table. Breaks my heart as most of these kids are not even in grade school yet.
I would like to do something nice for them and for just one day, to let them be just kids. I am planning to organize a children's party and give them some
gifts too. Any left over in the budget will be used to buy snacks to be distributed daily.
My dream is to someday have enough to be able to fund these kids to go to school so that they can be provided with equal opportunity to have a brighter future. When I have enough funds, I would like to fund a public children's library where each and every kid is welcome.
