Hi. My mother was diagnosed with a one in a million deasease. She had a massive jelly type liquid growing in her tummy. She first had it back in 2015 and had her operations the same year. By 2016 she had another operation to remove the jellies in her tummy again. She was doing fine but back in 2022 it came back again. At first the doctors could not understand it. It was only last year when the diagnosis came and it was pseudomyxoma peritonei. She actually had her oral chemo therapy but it wasn't effective since it did came back last year. August when a hole appeared in her stomach that had all the jellies leaking so she had to be admitted again and had to have 2 holes in her tummy. One for her wastes and one for the jellies. September when she was informed that she had to undergo chemo therapy in the hospital and we all know it costs a lot. After 2 sessions, she had to be hospitalized because she can no longer take it. After few days in the hospital, she went hope, said her goodbyes and went to heaven. We weren't prepared for the goodbyes but we weren't prepared for the financial expenses. We had to burry her beside my sister in a private cementary (my sister was burried by a company because she died in an accident that's why it was private cemetery). Now we have to face all the monthly expenses and some are just borrowed ones and we are having a hard time paying them all since these were all unexpected.
Hoping you vould all help even just a little so the weight will also be less on us.
My father has to take an advance availment of her pension. So he has no pension for 1 year.
