Last year, when I brought my mother (Fe Porcadilla) to a hospital to have her health get checked-up, aside from the problem she has on her kidneys and heart our doctor also noticed a lump on her neck and advised us to have it check. We haven't had it check right away because I have to ask our relatives for financial help first due to the costs of lab tests she needs to go through were beyond my financial capability, it cost us around Php 60,000. Several months had passed when we can finally able to see a doctor, and the diagnosis was Thyroid Cancer. The doctor told us that she needs to get a surgery as soon as possible because the cancer cells were spreading ang growing at a rapid rate. Now, the tumor has become visible from her neck, feels solid and very painful.
Right now I am having a difficult time with my relatives as they were now asking to have their money back that I borrowed from. With that together with the loan I availed from my bank I am now losing hope and feel like I'm about to fail my mother because I could not do anything to help her get rid of her pain cause by her illness.
The costs of her treatment will be around P100,000, depending on what procedure will be appropriate for her as the doctors needs also to account for her already existing health problems before.
