Help Sarsi Heal from Human Cruelty

Sarsi, an orange tabby and white cat, is a fighter. Despite being abandoned by his hooman and suffering from the cruelty of others, he remains resilient. In March 2021, I rescued him from V. Rama Ave. in Cebu City, Philippines with an open wound that exposed his spine. It was believed that he was injured from hot water or oil splashed on his body. Emaciated and in pain, Sarsi was brought to a veterinarian for treatment. According to the people in the area, Sarsi lived there with his owner, but during the pandemic, they went back to their province, leaving Sarsi behind. Since then, Sarsi has been scavenging for food and sometimes asking for help from nearby eateries. Sadly, one heartless food vendor splashed hot water or oil on him, causing a big wound. I couldn't bear to leave him on the streets again. Despite his wound not fully healing for two years, Sarsi's health has improved. He continues to fight through check-ups and wound dressings. But now, Sarsi's infection is getting worse, and the wound has become foul-smelling. He needs more intensive care and frequent wound dressings. Doc Gerald of Aycardo Vet Clinic was kind enough to accommodate Sarsi, even though I was unable to provide enough downpayment. Sarsi may need to stay at the clinic for a longer period to receive the proper care and monitoring he needs. This is where I plead with you to help me in aiding Sarsi's complete healing. Despite my current financial struggles, I refuse to give up on him. My goal is to make him feel that even though he was abandoned by his human and maltreated by people who he sought help from, he has someone who loves and cares for him - me. I can tell he relies on me by the way he communicates with me through gentle petting and soft meows. Please help me show Sarsi that he is not alone.
